El Getsu Endō | "Brilliant Moon, Way of the Circle"

Founder, Lay-Ordained Senior Teacher

E-RYT500, YACEP

RYS200: YTT Co-Director via Healium MKE

Meg Lucks is a lay ordained and entrusted Buddhist guide in the Soto Zen tradition. She lectures, offers community classes, directs an accredited YA Yoga School and leads retreats via The Heart Revival Center, and at other practice centers, in North America and abroad. She is the abiding senior instructor of the Heart Sangha in Milwaukee, WI.

Meg has been a practitioner of both Buddhism and Yoga since the early 2000s. Having studied with a wide host of knowledge-holders in the States, Canada and India, Meg humbly uses the gifts of ancient wisdom as a gateway into our own understanding of the treasures that are Yoga & Buddhism. Meg completed RYT-200 with Samadhi Center in Denver and RYT-300 with the Himalayan Yoga Center in Goa, India. Her Tibetan Buddhist studies have been supported by Ani Pema Chodron, Tim Olmstead and various teachers of Tergar and Shambhala. Meg received the precepts, for lay monastic ordination, under Priest Reirin Gumbel, of the Soto Zen lineage, in September of 2024.

Meg offers a practice that is designed to shed light on how traditional forms can offer practical tools for modern urban life. Form and function is deeply classical and steeped in dharma teachings.

In 2026, Meg widens the circle of Hearts that tend to the center and the community. Welcome Rachael Holmes and Vanessa Weber
