About The Event
Erin Brady's (Respir8MKE) roadshow makes it to Heart Center on Sunday, June 25th! In this session, participants will use a circular, conscious and connected active break breathing rhythm to access theta brainwave state and release stored stagnant energy from the body. It is here that we can unlock our truest potential by rewriting old limiting beliefs and patterns.
The class will start with a 20-30 minute discussion in which Erin will discuss how you will guide yourself into whatever depth you are comfortable with. During the 45 minute breathwork practice, she will walk you through every facet of what you may experience mentally, physically and emotionally, and remind you that you can slow down or rest based on your comfort. Erin will then gently guide you out and time will be spent re-grounding after the practice.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring your yoga mat: you will be lying down throughout the practice (there is no physical movement) so feel free to bring anything along for extra comfort like socks, sweater, a pillow, blanket, or an eye pillow. Bolsters and blankets will be available for your use.
If you have a history of seizures, are on a current regimen of complicated medications, or have asthma and/or high blood pressure, this breathwork practice is not recommended.
Limited to 12 students.
This is a pay-what-you-wish event. Understand that due to intimate group size, no shows/late cancels are subject to a $15 charge.
Have you met Erin of Respir8MKE? Erin is a spirited yoga teacher and breathwork navigator. Her body movement classes encourage students to get in tune and in touch with their own body and how movement appears and feels individually. Her creative and thoughtful sequencing will challenge students to take a deep exploratory dive into postures staying connected to body mechanics and alignment. Join Erin for a journey into breath and body which will give you a front row seat to understanding your own nervous system responses and how to engage with the breath to unearth years of strategies and programs embedded in the subconscious.
