Yin for the Season: An Equinox Celebration
This workshop is the perfect opportunity to ready your body & mind for the cooler months ahead. It will also work to settle the nervous system, lessen anxiety & stress, and of course release tension from the muscles, and lubricate the connective tissue, fascia, ligaments, and joints.

Please join Amy Kerley for a delicious, 2 hour, yin and restorative yoga workshop to celebrate the Fall Equinox. Yin yoga is a practice of long held, passive poses, all done on the floor, with support from blocks, bolsters, and blankets.
When Autumn arrives in Wisconsin, the days grow cooler & shorter. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the organs that tend to need the most support during this time of year are the lungs and large intestine. The lungs can be especially vulnerable as the weather cools and the humidity lessens, leading to coughs, colds, etc. The large intestine is responsible for releasing waste in our bodies, and tends to work overtime in the fall as the “party” of summertime draws to a close, and we move towards releasing what no longer serves us, both physically & emotionally, so that we can endure the…
