Winter Solstice Puja and Half Mala

The Winter Solstice is upon us! Come and nurture the Spark of the Divine within you as we move from Darkness into Light. Perceive more clearly your wisdom within to discern what to leave behind and what to bring forward.

Heart's Winter Solstice celebration combines a puja ceremony led by Jerry Becker and half mala (sun salutations) led by Stephi Overman. Gaze upon candle flame, relax your mind and body, reset your intentions and breathe into the depths of your being. Fill with unconditional Heart Centered love and be who you truly are!

Dress comfortably for yoga asana and bring with you a yoga mat. If you wish to write out your intentions (what you seek to release) ahead of time, they will be gathered and burned at dusk at the Anahata Labyrinth later that evening.

This is a FREE/ donation-based event. We ask that students attending choose to make a monetary contribution to Heart OR bring self-care/ personal hygiene items for our donation efforts supporting local families via Project Concern (items include: lotion, body wash, razors, toothbrushes and paste, feminine products, dish soap and lip balm).
