Spring Yin: a Four Week Series with Morgan Engels Sunday evenings from 6-7:15pm | March 8-29
Every season brings a transition and with a shift there is opportunity. Spring is nature's time to create, grow and renew - in turn, these are things that help us to move, release and clear.
In the Yin Yoga practice Spring is the time to harness the wood element in the body, which is associated to the liver. In this four week Spring series we will grow a yin yoga sequence for the liver, expanding upon the practice each week.We will explore a slow moving floor based posture practice of both smal breath based movement and longer held passive stretches. These will all focus on opening the hips, the inner leg lines and the sides of the body. By becoming more in tune with the wood element this season you will become flexible and clear in body, mind and emotions.
This series is ideal for all students. Please dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat (rentals available). Your pass gives you access to all 4 Sunday classes. Your pass is just $50. We ask that you sign up for each session separately. If you cannot make a session, please email our staff. The full series pass will be charged regardless of your attendance. Pass expires March 29th.
