Spring Cleanse: Ayurveda & Yoga for Self Care Workshop
Time & Location
About The Event
Sunday, 4/18, via Zoom
Part 1: Yoga, Part 2: Ayurveda (Choose one or both!)
Part 1 8:30 - 9:45 AM: After a long winter, the channels are cold and constricted. This slows down circulation, digestion/elimination becomes sluggish, and we accumulate toxins. A cleansing Spring yoga practice aims to boost circulation and supports healthy digestion and detoxification. Facilitated by Meg Lucks, E-RYT 500.
Part 2 10 - 12 PM: If you’re feeling sluggish and slow after a long winter, you may be ready for a detox. Ayurveda, Yoga’s sister science, suggests that Spring is the best time for cleansing the whole body. We do this by giving our digestion a break thereby boosting the detoxification process, safely removing toxins, clearing the mind of stagnancy, and strengthening immunity. Discover this time-tested approach that is gentle yet effective. The Ayurvedic Spring Cleanse is centered on detoxifying plant-based whole foods, herbs, and healthy habits that you can return to time and time again to restore health and wellness throughout the year. Facilitated by Heather Burkart, CAP, CPT, E-RYT 200.
Pricing: Yoga Only $20, Ayurveda Only $45, attend both for $55, register via MindBodyOnline.
