Autumn corresponds with the Metal element in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is associated with the lung and large intestine meridians. It is a season of natural inward movement and simplification, often connected with reflection, grief, and clarity.
This practice supports that inward turn without forcing it, allowing the system to naturally reorganize around what feels essential. Somatic movement is woven throughout and between longer held yin shapes, supporting release through sensation and awareness.
