Community Crafting: Rock Painting

Prioritize joy, creativity and community through craft at Heart Center! Each time we meet, artists and makers, Mickey Thiry and special guests will provide an organized craft. Sessions include an opening circle and meditation, followed by demonstration/ explanation of the focused craft/ activity. We will share projects + anything that came up during the session. We close with a bow and a collective breath.

July 13th - Rock Painting: We will explore rock painting as a form of mindful expression. Each stroke of paint on the stone becomes a practice in presence, meditation, and compassion. The rock becomes a symbol of stability and grounding. You will create your own painted rock(s), infused with intention, while deepening your understanding of how art can be a tool for cultivating peace and awareness in everyday life.
