Community Crafting: Prayer Flag Printing

Prioritize joy, creativity and community through craft at Heart Center!

Each time we meet, artists and makers, Mickey Thiry and special guests will provide an organized craft. Sessions include an opening circle and meditation, followed by demonstration/ explanation of the focused craft/ activity. Most of our time is dedicated to working at community tables with open space to craft and chat. The last portion of the time is dedicated to closing. We will share projects + anything that came up during the session. We close with a bow and a collective breath.

March 23rd: Print Your Own Prayer Flags. Bringing the lino-blocks back, this time to create printed prayer flags. Use your own stamp to create your flags, or use a stamp from each student to bring home flags crafted by your community.
