Community Crafting: Pastels with Guest Artist Judy Grochowski!

Prioritize joy, creativity and community through craft at Heart Center! Each time we meet, artists and makers, Mickey Thiry and special guests will provide an organized craft. Sessions include an opening circle and meditation, followed by demonstration/ explanation of the focused craft/ activity. We will share projects + anything that came up during the session. We close with a bow and a collective breath.

In this class, we’ll explore the foundations of working with soft pastels, from layering and blending to understanding tone, value, and texture. You’ll learn techniques to create luminous, expressive works that capture light and emotion with ease.
