About The Event
Prioritize joy, creativity and community through craft at Heart Center!
Each time we meet, artists and makers, Mickey Thiry and Meg Lucks will provide an organized craft; with a special holiday theme for Dec and Jan. Sessions include an opening circle and meditation, followed by demonstration/ explanation of the focused craft/ activity. Most of our time is dedicated to working at community tables with open space to craft and chat. The last portion of the time is dedicated to closing. We will share projects + anything that came up during the session. We close with a bow and a collective breath.
December 1st activity: DIY Lino-block printmaking for creating your own wrapping paper! Use your block prints and the block prints created by your community members to make one-of-a-kind pieces to adorn your holiday gifts.
