Dr. Joanna Love, “The Power of Asking for Help” Many people seek therapy because they need help. Seeking support can carry a stigma of weakness when we should really value the strength that comes with knowing that it is a skill to know when one needs help. Learn what this set of skills looks like and how to practice seeking support. What you will find, is that by practicing this skill set, you feel the strength of asking for help and the true power it holds in your life.
All community wellness sessions begin at 10am and run for approximately 75 minutes. In addition to hearing our featured speaker, participants can anticipate tea service and a healing activity (i.e. group acupuncture, meditation, light restore yoga, etc.) We ask that you dress most comfortably. Sessions are intimate in nature, limit 15 participants.
