Our communication habits shape how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. In times of division and uncertainty, learning how to speak honestly and listen with empathy becomes a powerful tool for connection, understanding, and change.
This experiential empathy workshop introduces you to foundational skills to transform everyday communication into a vehicle for greater intimacy, vulnerability, and compassion. Drawing from Nonviolent Communication (NVC) as developed by Marshall Rosenberg, Buddhist mindfulness practices, and somatic experiencing, participants will explore how empathy can be embodied, regulated, and applied to all forms of dialogue.
Together, we will clarify what empathy truly is (and what it is not), and explore how communication shows up in all areas of life, from our self-talk to relationships with others.
