Art + Heart: 2-Part Series Lino-Block Printing

We spark realization through embodiment! Join the Heart sangha for regular art classes with passionate makers and artists! Each series set (2 consecutive classes, Friday July 11 and 18, 6-8pm) will shift and change media and motivation!

For this art series, we explore the art of lino-block printing, a dynamic relief printing technique that allows you to create expressive designs. You'll learn the fundamentals of carving your own linoleum block, inking it, and transferring your designs onto paper or fabric. We will also explore reduction printing, a technique in which involves using the same block to print multiple colors by carving away areas after each color is printed. By the end of this class, you'll have your own original prints and a deeper appreciation for this timeless art form. Whether you are a beginner or experienced print-maker, this class will ignite your creativity!
