Community Ecstatic Dance

Ecstatic Dance is an opportunity for people to come together to explore freeform movement and expression through their bodies. It is a facilitated environment where we make a group effort to create a welcoming, safe, and accepting space for each person to release judgement and attachment to any expectation of self or others. We begin the dance with an opening circle when everyone is invited to introduce themselves as well as check in with one another. The facilitator will briefly describe guidelines for the dance and gently east everyone into some gentle movement. A mindfully curated playlist will continue to lead dancers into their experience. Observation, stillness, and relaxation are also welcome. We round out our evening reflecting together in a closing circle. You are encouraged to come as you are!

This group is trans and queer facilitated.

Capacity is limited to 15 folks. Pay as you wish. Drop-ins are also welcome!
